We've managed to get Poppy and Jo home at last.
It was a bit of a battle with the hospital, who seemed to be inventing reasons to keep Poppy in after saying we were ok to go home yesterday.
Anyway, to cut a long story short we got them to agree to let us go home and a Health Visitor would come over today to check on Poppy and decide whether she had to go back in.
The reason for this was that they told us that Poppy seemed to be getting an increase in her red blood cell count (probably a sign of dehydration, not surprising in a boiling hot hospital where she can't feed properly because of ll the stress).
The health visitor has just been and checked Poppy and she is fine. We just have to take her back to the hospital tomorrow for another check.
